Jodi Bevan RVN

Jodi is our head nurse and has worked for the practice for 13 years. She started nursing in 1998 and qualified as a RVN nurse in 2004. Jodi has worked at two other practices, one as deputy head nurse in Bristol for 4 years.

Joanna MacIver RVN

Joanna gained her nursing qualification from Hartpury in August 2014. From a young age she loved animals and knew she wanted to become a veterinary nurse, having brought her own animals to the VHC as a child. She joined the VHC in March 2016. Joanna has an avid interest in rehabilitation and is now a qualified Hydrotherapist. Having done the ABC awards Level 3 Diploma in Hydrotherapy for small animals and her advanced underwater treadmill qualification. Joanna is still keen to volunteer abroad for animal charities, helping to provide veterinary care for animals and educating the local community.

Sarah McAbendroth RVN

Sarah qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2016 at Hartpury College and she joined the practice in 2017. From a young age Sarah has been an animal lover, and she enjoys all aspects of the job, as it is different on a day-to-day basis.

Alice Jones RVN

Alice has recently completed her degree with Hartbury College to become a registered veterinary nurse. She has always wanted to work with animals and after doing work experience with us decided to pursue veterinary nursing. Alice also has a keen interest in wildlife.

Yvonne Littlehales

Yvonne has worked at the VHC for 17 years, 13 of which she has run the laboratory, having a keen interest in haematology and cytology.

She can be found working in Chepstow, but is responsible for all the in-house laboratory analysis for both surgeries.

Oliva Noad

Oliva always wanted to work with animals and completed an extended diploma in animal management in 2015. She is now studying for a foundation degree in veterinary nursing, which she hopes to complete next year.
